Adieu

Been a fool, been a clown
Lost my way from up and down
And I know, yes I know
And I see it in your eyes
That you really weren't suprised at me at all
Not at all
And I know by your smile it's you.

(Sky Doll, original character design, Porco Rosso)

HOW DO I MAKEUP

Just some caricatures. I don't know who the above is, some hybrid of miley cyrus and one of the Olsen sisters, I guess.
Some vintage gaaaals. ;3
Bill Murray LOL

Watching Hey Arnold while doing homework

And drawing Helga in MS Paint! It's really hard to resist doodling the characters on the side while working. Imagine if Helga let her hair down and straightened it, took care of her eyebrows and wore a little mascara? But I'd take her tomboyish self any day over that.

Don't fuck with Mr. Pricklepants

Cheesecakey?

XD Just a quick break while watching shin-chan. I have the same pajamas.
Nemuri I thought of you when I drew this!!

Are we done yet?

Sheesh.. I'm so tired of animation. I wish I had changed my major to illustration after my sophmore year. XD I'd rather keep animation as something personal to tinker with and have fun.

Speaking of which--have an animation doodle.

“The advice I like to give young artists...

wearethedigitalkids: “The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and somthing else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case.” -Chuck Close Image from Wisdom

Samuel, Jace

Above was a commission for Plan B [comic], below is Matt's OC Jace who is still in development. I've just been seeing him everywhere in other people's art, my goooosh :0

Also, keep reading the speech bubbles back and forth. It is hilarious.

Getting somewhere

This story is so hard so conceptualize for some reason. I took up yet another class to help me develop it, and I'm glad to say that I think it's finally getting somewhere. It's a lot more lighthearted than before, which I think is more in sync with my kind of speed. These guys are just so cute! :D
